🎄Whimsical Woodland Art for the Holidays & A "3D" Sneak Peek ❄️

As the last days of November slip away and December’s snowy skies begin to roll in, the studio is feeling extra magical. This is the time of year when creativity seems to hum a little louder—fresh snowfall always inspires new colour palettes, new characters, and new woodland stories waiting to be brought to life.

After two amazing markets last weekend (thank you to everyone who stopped by!), I’m carrying that excitement straight into this coming Sunday’s holiday event hosted at the Haliburton Home Hardware! Meeting so many of you at the markets and hearing what pieces make you smile, and seeing children fall in love with tiny forest creatures truly fuels every brushstroke. I’ll be back at it this weekend with restocks, new winter designs, and something completely new that I’m so excited to finally share…

✨ A First Look at My New 3D-Printed Woodland Line

For months, I’ve been quietly experimenting behind the scenes with a brand-new medium: 3D printing. After perfecting the designs and testing materials, I am thrilled to introduce a whole new line that blends my hand-painted whimsical style with beautifully sculpted, custom-printed forms.

🌲 What Makes This Line Special?

Each piece begins as a digital sculpture—carefully shaped with the same attention I use when sketching my traditional characters. Once printed, the figurines are assembled and given special painted touches to really bring each and everyone of them to life! 

The result?
A collection that feels like the next chapter in my woodland world—clean, crisp shapes with organic charm, tiny storybook details, and the same cozy personality my art is known for.

🦊 What Kind of Creatures Are Coming?

Here’s a peek at what’s in the works:

• Mini woodland animal figurines — foxes, owls, bunnies, bears, and forest sprites with soft winter hats and expressive faces.

•  Roars And Flames  — Dragons and dinosaurs come together in all beautiful shades with fun expressive features. 

• Character families — sets of matching animals designed to be displayed together, each with unique markings and personality.

• Whimsical Wigglers — From deer to axolotl to snowmen, there is an articulated figure for everyone! Great way for those fidgety fingers to focus on while bringing in some whimsical delight! 

These pieces are sturdy yet lightweight, making them perfect for collectors, gift-givers, and anyone who loves magical little décor items that feel like they belong in a woodland fairy tale.

❄️ When Are They Launching?

I’ll be bringing a tiny preview batch to this Sunday’s market—just a few early-release pieces for those who love to snag something special before the full line goes live. The full launch will roll out online later in December, once the winter collection photos are complete.
