As I sit here sipping my favourite cup of tea, I can't help but gaze out at the frosty wonderland that has transformed my backyard into a sparkling white canvas. Can you believe how much snow we've already gotten? It seems like just yesterday we were enjoying the last warm days of autumn, and now, the snow is piling up, creating a magical backdrop as we gear up for the holiday season!
For those of you who know me, you understand that winter and the holidays are my favorite times of the year. There’s something so enchanting about the snowflakes falling softly from the sky, creating a peaceful hush over everything. It’s a time for reflection, creativity, and, of course, celebration! This month, I’m thrilled to announce that I’m preparing for some exciting sales and events at Suzie-Q Crafty Creations!
As the holiday season approaches, I’ve been busy in my cozy studio, crafting new pieces that capture the spirit of winter. From delicate snow-themed artwork to warm and inviting seasonal décor, I’m excited to share these creations with you. Whether you're looking for the perfect gift for a loved one or something special to brighten up your own home, I’ve got you covered!
Mark your calendars! This month, I’ll be hosting a series of sales that you won’t want to miss. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store:
1. Cyber Week Sales Event (November 24th- December 2nd): Get ready for a magical start to the season with discounts on everything available in my shop! Whether it’s a painting that captures the serene beauty of snowfall or handcrafted ornaments to adorn your tree, there will be something for everyone.
2. Haliburton Ladies Auxiliary ( Saturday, November 15th) : Hosted at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 129. I am so excited to have been invited to participate in this years holiday sale! I will have a wide assortment of ornaments, hand painted festive figurines, and beautifully crafted earrings. I look forward to meeting some of you there!
3. Merry Minden Christmas Craft Sale ( Sunday, November 16th) : Hosted at the local Community Centre on Parkside Street in...you guessed it! Minden! Another chance to meet my fellow art enthusiasts out there in the wild! And another chance for you to snag up a special gift for someone on your list this holiday season!

As the temperatures drop and the snow continues to fall, there’s nothing quite like curling up in your favorite corner with a warm drink and some beautiful art. I believe that art has a unique power to transform spaces and evoke feelings of warmth and joy, especially during these chilly months.
